Israeli inquiry into Shireen Abu Akleh killing draws condemnation

Palestinian officials, rights advocates, and the family of slain Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh have slammed the findings of an Israeli army inquiry into the killing. The Israeli military has admitted for the first time that Akleh was likely killed by Israeli gunfire, saying there is a 'high possibility' that she was 'accidentally hit' by gunfire from one of its soldiers. But the army said it would not be launching a criminal investigation into the May killing of the veteran Palestinian-American journalist.
