Facing ‘monster’ fire, PM says France must adapt to climate change
France has deployed a thousand firefighters to stop what is being described as a "monster" wildfire. It has scorched more than seven thousand hectares of forest since Tuesday. The French prime minister acknowledged the extreme conditions, linked to climate change, that have exacerbated the enormous conflagration and which warn of a climate emergency.
