75,000 rubber ducks make a splash in the Chicago River for Ducky Derby 2022
Over 75,000 rubber ducks raced down the Chicago River Thursday to benefit charity. The annual event is coordinated by Special Olympics Chicago and this year they raised nearly $333,000 with 75,005 rubber ducks sponsored. The sponsor of the duck who wins gets a new Chevy Equinox.
