Turkish presidential spokesman discusses Ukraine grain exportation

A joint co-ordination centre to monitor grain exports from Ukraine opened in Istanbul on Wednesday. It's part of a deal Kyiv and Moscow signed last week, which was brokered by Turkey and the United Nations. Turkey's defence minister says it's an example of the international cooperation needed to tackle global food shortages. The defence minister says arrangements were being made for the first ship to leave a Ukrainian port in the coming days. The Ukrainian government says it wants to resume exports this week, for the first time since the Russian invasion began in February. Ibrahim Kalin, a spokesman and special adviser to the Turkish president, talks to Al Jazeera.
