Mexican government encourages locally grown crops

Economists in Mexico warn that without action to reduce inflation, some communities in the country could face famine. As food prices in the country skyrocket, Mexico’s President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, wants Mexicans to produce more of their own food, and make the country more self-sufficient.
