Ecuador protests over rising living costs turn deadly



In Ecuador, at least three people have been killed after demonstrations against rising fuel and food costs turned violent. Security forces fired tear gas at Indigenous protesters marching in the capital, Quito. Demonstrations calling for government action are taking place for a ninth day – and in defiance of a curfew.
