Lebanon signs natural gas deal with Egypt to ease energy crisis



Lebanon has signed a natural gas agreement with Egypt to ease its energy crisis. The plan also involves importing electricity from Jordan. But it depends on World Bank funding and the United States waiving sanctions imposed on Syria. Three years into Lebanon’s worse economic crisis, the state supplier is providing power for only about an hour a day. Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Beirut.
