UN supports efforts to reduce child, early marriages in Iraq

Child and early marriages have increased in Iraq during the past 10 years. And that usually severely affects them, both physically and mentally. In a conference held in Baghdad, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) raises people’s awareness of the effects of early marriages and how to tackle them.
