Australian new PM in Indonesia in bid to strengthen regional ties
Australia’s new prime minister says he will work to strengthen ties with Southeast Asia, as he makes his first bilateral visit since being sworn in. In Indonesia this week, Anthony Albanese has pledged stronger cooperation, while noting that Beijing is also seeking to expand its influence in the Indo-Pacific.
