Caught between US and Iran, Iraqis face choices in elections



On Sunday, Iraq will hold its fifth election since the 2003 United States invasion that ended the rule of then-President Saddam Hussein. An early election was one of the main demands of demonstrators during protests in October 2019 that saw hundreds of Iraqis killed. But many people are sceptical the ballot will create the change the protesters called for.
