Poland: Volunteers struggle to help waves of Ukrainian refugees



Nearly four million refugees are estimated to have left Ukraine since the war began. Volunteers from around the world have travelled to neighbouring countries, like Poland, to help care for them – but there is little clarity about who is organising the relief efforts. In the chaos of meeting urgent needs, local authorities admit that there is little oversight over the volunteers streaming in to help.
