Myanmar Armed Forces Day: A public holiday that many do not celebrate

In Myanmar, the head of the army has promised to wipe out opposition to military rule. Min Aung Hlaing said this in his speech to mark Armed Forces Day, a day that commemorates the founding of the Myanmar military. But it is an event that much of the country won't be celebrating. Many political analysts say they expect the crisis and violence in Myanmar to continue.
