Biden Euro trip: US president says commitment to NATO is ‘sacred’
US President Joe Biden is now on his way back to Washington, after meetings with allies in Europe on Ukraine. He has been in Poland, where he earlier met refugees and volunteers. In a speech before departing, Biden also spoke to the Russian people, telling them they are not the enemy. But he said Europe must prepare for a long fight against the Kremlin's aggression. Biden reinforced previous comments on the duty to the collective defense principle of NATO's Article 5, stating that it is a "sacred commitment."
