Incredible timelapse of Australian floods as parts of the country receive almost a year of rainfall



Heavy flooding on the east coast of Australia has claimed the lives of 22 people. This timelapse footage taken by monitoring cameras from February 24 to March 2 shows the extent of torrential rain and rising flood waters in multiple locations in Queensland, Australia. Australia’s prime minister Scott Morrison on Wednesday said he would declare a national emergency during a visit to flood-devastated Lismore in northern New South Wales state, where four people died last week.
