‘It’s hell’: Civilians caught in Russian shelling around Kharkiv

The eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv was one of Russia's first targets. Despite heavy shelling and its proximity to the Russian border, it is still under Ukrainian control. But many of the city's 1.5 million residents have fled and those remaining are coming under heavy fire.
