Germany to boost military spending amid Russia’s Ukraine invasion
Anti-war protests are continuing around the world, including in Berlin. Tens of thousands have gathered in the German capital to denounce Russia's attack on Ukraine. Germany's chancellor received a standing ovation in parliament earlier when he announced Berlin would be spending $100bn on its military defences.
