US coal mine workers unions testify at Senate hearing



After almost a year on strike, unions representing of a group of miners in the United States are testifying at a Senate hearing. The miners say their pay and benefits were cut, while investors were profiting from restructuring at the coal mine in Alabama. The Senate hearing comes amid a wave of attempts to unionise by workers across the US, including at Starbucks and Amazon.
