US closes Kyiv embassy and moves staff to western Ukraine
The US is temporarily closing its embassy in Kyiv and relocating it further west near Poland, saying that Russia could invade Ukraine at any time. Despite the embassy's closure, the White House says it remains actively engaged in finding a diplomatic solution to Russia-Ukraine tensions.
