A driving school in the Iraqi city of Basra is not only providing women with the skillset they need to take control on roads but also creating a space for them to discuss the challenges they face in everyday life. Though Iraqi women have been licensed to drive for decades, the driving school in Basra – a conservative city – is also teaching them a broader set of skills.
