North Korea conducts most powerful missile test in years

North Korea has released images as proof that it conducted an intermediate-range ballistic missile test, its most powerful in recent years. The nuclear-capable Hwasong-12 missile has a range of about 4,500km, enough to reach the US territory of Guam. The United States says that it wants direct talks with North Korea, but has so far been rebuffed.
