Sierra Leone medical workers ‘ready’ for new Ebola outbreak



Medical workers in Sierra Leone say they are better equipped and more prepared for a repeat of an Ebola outbreak. The blood-clotting virus killed 4,000 people in Sierra Leone eight years ago, as well as many others in neighbouring countries. Doctors and survivors say that they have learned lessons from the outbreak, but much of the infrastructure created to fight the virus has deteriorated after funding dried up.
