Cambodia opposition leader’s trial resumes after two-year delay



The trial of Cambodian opposition leader Kem Sokha on charges of treason has been adjourned until next week. It resumed after a two-year delay due to the pandemic. He was arrested in 2017 and his party dissolved the same year, ahead of an election. The move allowed the ruling party to win all seats in parliament the following year.
