Philippines media freedom: Court orders licence of news site rappler reinstated
A Nobel peace prize winner has hailed a court ruling in the Philippines as a victory for media freedom and democracy.
Maria Ressa's news organisation, Rappler, has had its licence reinstated.
In 2018, it was accused of violating foreign ownership restrictions. The Court of Appeals has now thrown out that decision.
