Pakistan government says moving to ban Imran Khan’s PTI
Islamabad, Pakistan – Pakistan’s information minister says the government has decided to ban the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), alleging that the party of former Prime Minister Imran Khan was involved in antistate activities.
Attaullah Tarar made the announcement in a news conference on Monday. The Pakistani government announced its intention to ban former Prime Minister Imran Khan's party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), citing alleged involvement in anti-state activities. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar revealed that the federal government would present the case to the Supreme Court to impose the ban on PTI.
