‘Very sad’ Ramadan begins in Gaza without ceasefire: Analysis
Sami Al-Arian, director of the Centre for Islamic and Global Affairs, has told Al Jazeera that it is a “very sad moment” in Gaza as Ramadan begins without a ceasefire and for many on the brink of famine. “Unfortunately, Israel does not see the Palestinians as human beings; they say they are ‘human animals’.
