India’s Nagaland state pass resolution seeking repeal of AFSPA



The state of Nagaland in India’s northeast is asking government leaders in New Delhi to repeal a law that allows soldiers to ‘shoot to kill’. The request comes after 14 civilians were mistakenly killed by the army earlier this month. The killings provoked widespread protests across the region.
