Somalia drought: ICRC warns of major humanitarian crisis
The International Committee of the Red Cross is warning of a major humanitarian crisis in Somalia, which is again in the grips of drought. It is forcing families to leave their homes in search of water, and grazing land for cattle. In a region of Somalia already hammered by violence and fighting, aid agencies have scaled up efforts in response to the drought, but say more support is needed.
