400 Mawozo gang kidnapped the missionaries: Haiti police
President Joe Biden's administration is working with the American Embassy in the Haitian capital and local authorities to recover 17 kidnapped missionaries and their children, according to US officials. Police have accused the 400 Mawozo gang of kidnapping them after the abducted group visited an orphanage on Sunday, east of the capital Port-au-Prince. Sixteen US citizens and one Canadian are being held.
